Compatible Devices

The Dimmy app works on all iOS devices, including both iPhone and iPad.

However, the Dimensioning module requires a LIDAR sensor. To use this feature, you’ll need one of the following devices:

All other modules in the app can be used on any iOS device, even without LIDAR.

Download the Dimmy App from the App Store

  1. Open the App Store on your device and search for “Dimmy”, or go directly to this link:

  2. Tap the Download button and wait for the installation to complete.

  3. On your home screen, look for the Dimmy app. The icon should look like this:

  1. Tap the Dimmy icon to open the app.

Sign Up to the Dimmy app

  1. On the login screen, click “Don’t have an account? Sign up” to open the signup window.
  2. Enter your email address and press Continue.
  3. Create your account by filling in a username and password.
  4. Provide some additional information: first name, last name, company name, and phone number.
  5. Select your use-cases for Dimmy and choose your preferred onboarding option.
  6. Your account will now be created. To activate it, check your mailbox for the Dimmy verification email and click the verification link.

After completing these steps, your Dimmy account is ready to use.

Sign in to the Dimmy app

When you open the Dimmy app and are not yet logged in, you should see the following screen:

  1. Tap Log In. A browser window will open, prompting you to enter your login details:
  2. Enter your email address and tap Continue.
  3. A Password field will appear. Enter your password and tap Log In.
  4. The browser window will close automatically, and you’ll return to the Dimmy app home screen.
  5. The Log In button will now be replaced with a Log Out button, confirming that you are signed in successfully.
